Young people aim to expand India’s toy market globally, says PM Modi

New Delhi [India], Aug 29 (ANI): Stating that the toy industry has a huge market of around Rs 6 to 7 lakh crore in the world, Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his monthly radio show “Mann Ki Baat” on Sunday said that the country’s youth have resolved to make an impact on Indian toys around the world.
He said today’s young people are focusing on improving the processes, variety and technology in making toys and experimenting with new things.
Prime Minister Modi said: “Only a few days ago we were discussing toys. When this issue was brought to the attention of our young people, they decided to make an impact on Indian toys globally. They are experimenting with new things. There is a huge market. for toys around the world, valued at around Rs 6-7 lakh crore. Today India’s share is quite small, but our young people today are focusing on improving the processes, variety and technology of toys and making them according to the psychology of the child. young people want to actively contribute to the field.

Further appreciating the potential of the country’s youth, PM Modi said a large percentage of young people are willing to take risks and want to venture into startups.
He said that today’s youth want to explore unfamiliar areas by setting new goals, forging new paths and having a new set of aspirations.
He added: “When we take a close look at young people, a big change is visible. Young people today have changed their minds. Young people today are shedding old, outdated ways of thinking. ready to walk the beaten track. They want to make new paths. Want to explore unknown areas. They have set new goals, forged new paths and have new aspirations. Today, everywhere we see, young people are eager to venture into -ups. They are eager to take risks. The culture of startups is spreading even in small towns. In this I find signs of a bright future. “
Referring to the enthusiasm of young people for the space sector, the Prime Minister said he was confident that in the coming days there will be a large number of satellites built by the young people of the country.
